Today you can visit St. Vincents Beach and Holyrood Pond which has only a small beach separating it from the ocean. At the beach there is a terrific land based look out complete with telescopes. Whales love to feed along this shoreline. Travel a little bit further towards Peters River and see a migrating herd of Caribou along the roadside barrens, there are often hundreds of Caribou visible from the roadsides. These caribou are the most southern herd of woodland caribou. Afterwards you could stop at Point La Haye for a picnic lunch. On your way back towards Holyrood you can stop at Riverhead St Mary's Bay a scenic rural town by the sea. Here you can Hike the Trails at Hare hill and enjoy the great vistas.
