Holyrood Park

Holyrood Park is well known throughout the Avalon Peninsula as an excellent place to bring your family for a day of swimming, sunbathing and picnicing. Located about 1 km off the Conception Bay Highway, the river provides clean and safe swimming for young and old alike. There is a "kiddie" pool for the very young children. During the summer months lifeguards are on duty during the day.

If you want to have a picnic or "boil-up", the park is an ideal location. Picnic tables are located in meadows along the banks of the river.
